HGTV's Dog House Fixer Upper Show

Chip and Joanna broke ground on their first dog house renovation in early 2003 after getting married and being overcome by excessive passion. Chip with his ability to tear down walls and use a hammer, matched with Joanna’s flair to add just the right touch to improving any area with a unique design, set out to start their first project.

On HGTV's Dog House Fixer Upper you can watch Chip and Joanna take clients through the process of finding the right dog house, removing the imperfections, and designing the dog house as it was always meant to be. They typically begin each show by revealing all of the shoddy workmanship and construction that went into the original dog house over the years.

Joanna then in an amazing fashion creates unique plans and designs along with gathering and obtaining used items from local thrift stores to accent each dog home.

That's extra cash for the future folks! The couple usually gasp and say, "Oh My God, Oh My God, Oh My God!" After settling down they all go and check out all of the work done to their new dog house. Usually they're thrilled to see their new dog house. "The dog house looks so different now," the couple usually says. And the four of them laugh and giggle. Oh yeah that Chip's a character. On one show he ate a roach in front of a couple that was checking out a possible dog house to renovate, just to show he could. One that was on the grass next to the dog house. The couple didn't know what to do or how to respond to that. Then they finished checking out the dog house.
